ZHUMAHAZI AYIBOTA is an international student at ZJSU  majoring in Chinese Language and Literature (Business Chinese), ranked 9th among 108 competitors in the global competition of Chinese Bridge·2017 Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreigners Across the Globe, and won “Outstanding Individual Award”. The Chinese Bridge·2017 Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreigners Across the Globe is a large-scale cultural competition and co-hosted by Confucius Institute Headquarter (Hanban) and China Central Television.

MEIRIYANA LIM, from Indonesia, majoring in Chinese Language and Literature (Business Chinese), won the honorary titles of "The Most Beautiful Xiasha Person" and "Hangzhou Outstanding River Protector". What’s more, she also won the Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship in 2015 and the first prize of Zhejiang Gongshang University Scholarship in 2016.
