(1) Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and be in good health.

(2) The requirement for applicants’ degree:

●be a high school graduate under the age of 25 when applying for the undergraduate programs;

●be a bachelor’s degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for the master’s programs;

●be a master’s degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for the doctoral programs;

●have a high school diploma (or higher) under the age of 45 when applying for the general scholar programs;

●have a master’s degree (or higher) under the age of 50 when applying for the senior scholar programs.

      02.Scholarship Coverage

  ② Application Guide

Apply to the dispatching authorities for overseas study of your home country (type A). Choose Zhejiang Sci-Tech University as your First Target university. Generally, the application period is from the beginning of January to April, 2021. For the specific application qualification, application period and the Agency Number, please consult the dispatching authorities of your country.

  ③ Application Procedure

Step 1: Apply to the dispatching authorities for overseas study of your home country for CGS opportunity.

Step 2: Online Application for Zhejiang Sci-Tech University: Please log in the Online Application System of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University (ZSTU)  (http://apply.zstu.edu.cn/).

Step 3: Online Application for Chinese Government Scholarship: Applicants should log in CGS Information System (Visit www.campuschina.org and click “Scholarship Application for Students” to log in), then fill in the E-application form.

Step 4: Submit all of your application documents to the dispatching authorities of your home country (generally the Chinese Embassies & Consulates in your home country) before the deadline.

(2) Chinese Government Scholarship - Zhejiang Sci-Tech University Program: Apply to Zhejiang Sci-Tech University directly

  ② Application Guide

Apply to Zhejiang Sci-Tech University directly. (type B, Agency No.: 10338). The deadline is early April 2021.

  ③ Application Procedure

(The following two steps must be completed simultaneously)

Step 1: Online Application for Chinese Government Scholarship:

Applicants should log in CGS Information System (Visit www.campuschina.org and click “Scholarship Application for Students” to log in), then fill in the E-application form.

Step 2: Online Application for Zhejiang Sci-Tech University: Please log in the Online Application System of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University (ZSTU) (http://apply.zstu.edu.cn/).

Next: Finish the major application. Fill in the forms and upload the following required documents in clear scanned copies, then submit it.

Next: Please choose Chinese Government Scholarship→ CSC Zhejiang Sci-Tech University Program (for master’s and doctoral applicants) to finish the scholarship application.

    04.Application Documents

② A photocopy of valid passport

③ Notarized highest degree certificate and academic transcripts. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English. Applicants who are still studying in schools should submit the pre-graduation certificate issued by the school.

Note: Applicants who apply for the program with pre-graduation certificate should provide the highest degree certificate before the registration date, or the admission will be disqualified.

④ Photocopies of language proficiency certificates (Chinese or English) or the original language certificate of the teaching language (Chinese or English) during the highest education. 

⑤ Personal statement, in Chinese or English, should include study and work experience, reasons for application and study proposal. 

⑥ Two letters of recommendation from full professors or associate professors in Chinese or English. (applicants for

⑦ Published academic papers or other academic achievements. (applicants for undergraduate programs do not need to provide them) 

(Please be sure to upload relevant materials if available, our university will give priority to recommendation) 

⑧ Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Report. The report should use the Form printed by Chinese quarantine authority. The report can be filled either in Chinese or English. The report must cover all of the items listed in the form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. Please carefully plan your physical examination schedule as the result is valid for only six months. 

⑨ Certificate of No Criminal Record

⑩ For applicants under the age of 18, a letter of Authorization for Parents and a letter of Guarantee for Guardian shall be submitted. The guardian shall be a Chinese adult or foreigner residing in China.

● Application documents of recommended candidates from dispatching authorities will be considered by CSC for eligibility and qualification.  

● Qualified applications will be sent to ZSTU for placement by CSC.

● CSC reviews the placement results, sends the admission documents to the Chinese embassy or consulate-general. The Chinese embassy or consulate-general will send the admission documents to the dispatching authorities or scholarship recipients.

(2) Zhejiang Sci-Tech University Program

●ZSTU will evaluate the Applicant’s application materials and select the nominated candidates.

●The CSC reviews eligibility and qualifications of nominated candidates.

●After being approved by CSC, ZSTU will inform the scholarship recipients by email in early July 2021, and issue the Admission Notice and other relevant admission materials ASAP.
