• In good health condition, in accordance with the Health Standard for International Students stipulated by the Ministry of Education, China.
• Good moral character and discipline towards the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and the University.
• Good English or Chinese language proficiency. Certificate from highest education attained.
• Meeting the requirement for different programs.

         Application Procedure

Apply throughJSU http://admission.ujs.edu.cn STEP 1: Register your account and activate it.
STEP 2: Fill out the application and upload all required documents as follows

1.A passport photo;
2.Copy of passport (the photo page)
3.Copy of your final degree transcript (Notarized English translation if applicable) Copy of your final degree certificate (Notarized English translation if applicable) English language proficiency certificate (non-English speaking countries)
4.Family financial statement
5.HSK-4 certificate (for Chinese-Medium programs only)
Research proposal (Master and Ph.D. only)
6.2 recommendation letters (Master and Ph.D. only)

  STEP 3: Submit the application and note your application number.

  STEP 4: Pay application fee of 200 CNY (non-refundable).

  STEP 5: E-mail the remittance slip to admission@ujs.edu.cn if you pay through the
 STEP 6: Receive your admission notice through the application portal if accepted. STEP 7: Pay* seat reservation fees (non-refundable) before the due date. E-mail the remittance slip to admission@ujs.edu.cn if you pay through the bank.

•  Bachelor, Master and Pre-U Students: Pay 2,800 CNY
• Ph.D. Candidates: Pay 800 CNY
• MBBS Students: Pay 6,000 CNY
• Non-Degree Students: Contact admission office

STEP 8:Submit your FOREIGNER PHYSICAL EXAMINATION FORM( ) to admission@ujs.edu.cn

STEP 10: Apply for VISA and upload your arrival information at the application portal.

         How to Pay

METHOD 1: JSU ONLINE PAYMENT PORTAL (CNY, Wechat Pay, Ali Pay available) Please open the following link: http://pay.ujs.edu.cn

Password: Last six digits of your passport (or oec123)

Only Chinese bank cards are accepted with open online banking. Payments via WeChat and Alipay are also available. If students choose to pay via WeChat and Alipay, they need to wait one working day for the payment data to be transferred.

METHOD 2: ONLINE APPLICATION PORTAL (USD or other foreign currencies)
Login to the online application portal and make the payment with Visa, MasterCard, and other major bank cards.

METHOD 3: FOR TRANSFERS FROM YOUR COUNTRY (USD only), the remittance should be emailed to admission@ujs.edu.cn.

  All students are expected to pay off fees on arrival, or will be unable to obtain resident permit. Application fee and seat reservation fee are non-refundable, but will be deducted from the fee you should be paying after registering on campus.

4,500 or 4,900 per person per academic year (Double-room)

SHORT-TERM ACCOMMODATION:

PS: The University does not permit freshmen to live off-campus.

Registration Fees: 400 CNY
Deposit for Dormitory: 500 CNY

Bedding Items: 400 CNY (pillow, bed sheet, blanket, mattress etc.) optional
Physical Examination: around 400 CNY (to be paid to Entry-Exit Inspection & Quarantine Bureau)

Annual Expenses from the first year to last year
Medical Insurance Fee: 600 CNY/ year (to be paid to the life insurance company) Resident Permit: 400 CNY/ year (to be paid to Public Security Bureau)
Books: Flexible, about 600 CNY/year
